Cookie policy
The browser storage RentSignal currently uses and how future optional tracking will be handled.
Effective 14 June 2026 / Version 2026-06-14
Current cookie use
RentSignal currently uses essential cookies and similar browser storage needed for authentication, session continuity, security and remembering that the cookie notice was acknowledged. These technologies are necessary for requested account features and cannot be disabled through RentSignal without affecting login or security.
Authentication cookies
Supabase authentication cookies help keep a user signed in, complete secure authentication redirects and protect access to role-based pages. They may contain session identifiers or tokens but should not contain a user's password.
Preference storage
RentSignal may use local browser storage to remember interface choices, such as dismissing an informational notice. This storage remains on the device until it expires or is cleared.
Analytics and advertising
RentSignal does not currently use advertising cookies or behavioural advertising trackers. If optional analytics, marketing or third-party advertising technologies are added, this policy and the consent interface will be updated before they are activated for users who require a choice.
Managing browser storage
Browsers allow cookies and local storage to be viewed or deleted. Blocking all cookies may prevent login, password reset and secure dashboard access. Cookie settings do not remove server-side account or rental records; privacy requests are handled under the Privacy and PAIA policies.
